Man Accused of Holding Woman Captive in Hialeah Home to Have Sex to Repay Debt

Luis Wu Chiong, 67, was arrested Tuesday on charges including armed kidnapping and aggravated assault with a firearm

A man was arrested after allegedly locking a woman inside a Hialeah home so he could have sex with her to repay a debt, police said.

Luis Wu Chiong, 67, was arrested Tuesday on charges including armed kidnapping and aggravated assault with a firearm, according to an arrest report.

The report said the woman was dropped off at a home in the 800 block of Southeast 12th Street to have sex with Chiong to repay a debt, and was greeted at the front door by Chiong who locked the outer iron gate with a key.

While in the home Chiong gave the woman cocaine and told her to snort it, and after she did they went into a bedroom where Chiong locked the door with a key, the report said. Chiong ordered the woman to remove her clothes and "entertain him," the report said.

After the woman removed her clothes she became uncomfortable and said she wanted to leave, but Chiong armed himself with a firearm and pointed it at her, refusing to unlock the door, the report said.

The woman called police as Chiong refused to let her leave, but after officers arrived he unlocked the bedroom door and the woman ran to the front door, the report said. Chiong refused to unlock the front gate for officers but the woman was able to get the keys and hand them to an officer, the report said.

Chiong was taken into custody and later charged. He remained behind bars on $35,000 bond Wednesday, and attorney information wasn't available.
