Man Allegedly Groped 10-Year-Old Girl at Universal's Water Park in Orlando

A South Carolina man was arrested for allegedly groping a 10-year-old girl at Universal's Volcano Bay water park in Orlando.

The Orlando Police Department said 26-year-old Harry Booth intentionally moved closer to a little girl and grabbed her, WESH reports.

Booth was taken straight from Universal's Volcano Bay to the Orange County Jail, police said.

According to a criminal complaint against Booth, the 10-year-old girl visiting from Brazil told police she was floating down one of the rivers at Volcano Bay when she approached a group of young men.

The girl told investigators that Booth "appeared to intentionally separate from his group of friends and move closer."

The child then said he touched and grabbed her private area as she floated by.

Police said the child told her aunt, who then got a lifeguard. Security officers then kept a constant watch on Booth until police arrived. Police stopped him as he was coming out of another water ride.

According to an officer, "His body trembled, he bit his lip repeatedly and he looked away as though he was fabricating a story."

Booth is facing a charge of lewd and lascivious molestation. He is being held without bond.
