Police have made an arrest after a woman was found dead in a west Miami-Dade home.
Miguel Diaz, 20, has been charged with second degree murder.
Police said Diaz called 911 on Thursday, claiming a robber with a knife entered the home on Northwest 1st Lane and 109th Court.
When officers arrived, they found the body of a woman with stab wounds to her neck.
Police said Diaz was renting a room from the victim. According to investigators, Diaz offered different versions of how the supposed robber entered the home.
They said there is also video showing Diaz returning to the scene twice and leaving before meeting with detectives.
Diaz remains in jail with no bond. There's no word on whether he has an attorney.
