Police arrested a man who they say beat, robbed and sexually battered a woman last week in Sunrise.
The incident occurred on September 5th around 6:40 a.m., when a 60-year-old woman was walking to a bus stop near the 3600 block of Northwest 90th Terrace.
According to the police report, 25-year-old Anthony Andre Quintal walked up to the woman, grabbed her neck and struck her several times with a closed fist. Quintal then pulled the pulled the woman to the ground between tall bushes, where he sexually battered her, the report said.
The woman suffered fracturing to her orbital and nose.
Quintal has been charged with sexual assault, robbery, attempted murder, aggravated battery, possession of cannabis, possession of a controlled substance, possession and use of drug paraphernalia, kidnapping and false imprisonment of of adult.
His bond has been set at $252,000.
