Police say Gutierrez is behind the string of 34 car break-ins that occurred between Monday and Tuesday.

On Monday morning, sight break-ins were reported in the 1100 block of Southwest 6th Street. On Tuesday, 26 break-ins were reported, 11 in the 600 block of Southwest 1st Street, 2 in the 100 block of Southwest 7th Avenue, 7 in the 100 block of Southwest 6th Avenue and 5 in the 1300 block of Southwest 1st Street, Reyes said.

Police said surveillance cameras captured a suspect at at least two of the locations.

According to an arrest report, Gutierrez was arrested Wednesday thanks to an anonymous CrimeStoppers tip.

Gutierrez was being held on over $45,000 bond Thursday. It was unknown whether he had an attorney.
