Man Attacks Car While Mother, Children Are Inside: Deputies

A West Palm Beach man has been accused of attacking a car carrying a mother and her two small children.

The South Florida Sun Sentinel reports that 54-year-old Anthony Ritz is facing charges of aggravated assault and culpable negligence in connection to what police are calling a road-rage incident that occurred Monday in a West Palm Beach parking lot.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says Ritz was angry that Nadia McClean, the driver in front of him, hadn't turned onto a road fast enough.

McClean says Ritz was honking at her and followed her into a parking lot, at which time he began swinging an object at her car, breaking the windshield, despite children being inside the vehicle.

Online records do not say whether Thomas has an attorney.
