Police responded after a man believed to be armed barricaded himself inside a Hialeah home Tuesday morning.
The incident happened around 9 a.m. at a home in the 2600 block of W. 73rd Place when the unidentified 62-year-old man got into an argument with his step-son and wife, Hialeah Police said.
The wife and step-son were able to leave the home unharmed and called police. When officers arrived, the man refused to come out, police said.
Neighbors in adjacent homes were evacuated as a precaution.
After about two hours, the man surrendered to police. It's unknown what, if any, charges he'll face.
