Two people tried to help the victim, but he died on the scene.

A man died after he was fatally stabbed in Hialeah Sunday morning, authorities said.

Police said the stabbing occurred at East 4th Avenue and 30th Street at around 7 a.m.

Barbara Abreu said it was her 36-year-old husband, Miguel Angel who was stabbed and that she knows the killer.

Abreu said that the two men were fighting with knives Saturday night, but that she was able stop them. She told NBC 6 that the man waited in the bushes for Angel as he was leaving for work and then stabbed him.

Two people tried to help the stabbing victim, but he died on the scene, according to Eddie Rodriguez of the Hialeah Police Department.

Police, who said they are close to identifying the suspect, were interviewing witnesses about a man who was seen running in the area.

Abreu said that Angel predicted that the stabbing would happen.
