Miami Police are investigating the death of a man found in a Wynwood alleyway Friday night.
Police were called about a man being chased by a car in the alleyway of the 3400 block of Northwest 3rd Avenue around 8:40 p.m.
Detectives say officers and paramedics found the man lying in the alleyway, unresponsive and with trauma to his body.
There were also reports of gunfire after the impact, but police are not saying if the victim was shot after being hit.
The victim was immediately transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital Trauma Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
The death is currently being investigated by both homicide and traffic homicide detectives, as it is unclear how the trauma led to his death occurred.
