    Man Hospitalized After Crash Involving KinderCare Bus in SW Miami-Dade

    A driver was hospitalized after he was involved in a crash with a KinderCare bus that was full of children in southwest Miami-Dade. (Published Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016)

    One person was transported to the hospital after a morning accident involving a bus full of children in Southwest Miami-Dade.

    The accident took place just after 8 a.m. on the Florida's Turnpike near Southwest 152nd Street. Police and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue say that a red truck hit a bus from the KinderCare program.

    The truck’s driver was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital South, while no adults or children on the bus were hurt. The accident is still under investigation.

    All the students were taken to either an area school or back to KinderCare, where they were picked up by their parents.
