A man detectives characterized as "uncooperative" has been hospitalized following a shooting in Miami-Dade County, police said.
The shooting happened at around 2:45 p.m. Saturday in the 4700 block of NW 23rd Court, authorities said.
Police said they arrived on the scene to find the man suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The man, who was described as "uncooperative" by officials, was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center.
Police are currently investigating the motives and people involved in the shooting.
