Shannon Davell Pierce was arrested and charged with first degree murder after police found a man shot in the head inside of his pick-up truck this morning in front of an apartment building at 150 Northeast 79th Street.
A blue Ford Taurus, which was later recovered, was seen leaving the area shortly after gunshots were heard, the police report indicated, and Pierce was seen on surveillance entering the victim's truck and shortly after, leaving it.
According to the affidavit, Pierce confessed to entering the victim's truck with a 9mm handgun and shooting the victim. The affidavit also indicated that a witness told police Pierce had said on previous occasions that he would kill the victim.
