Man With Paintball Gun Causes Scare in Miami Neighborhood

A man seen walking in a Miami neighborhood armed with a paintball gun caused a brief scare Friday, police said.

Miami Police officials said they received several calls to 911 of an armed man in the parking lot of a Regions Bank.

Officers set up a perimeter in the area of Southwest 42nd Avenue between Southwest Flagler Street and 2nd Street to search for the "possibly armed" man.

Nearby Kinloch Park Elementary was placed on lockdown as a precaution.

The man was eventually found and explained that he was returning the paintball gun to his boss, police said. The man wasn't charged.
