Patrick Roundtree and Eric Major couldn't have even shared a Burger King value meal with the money they tried to steal from their victim Saturday night.
Police were called to 581 NW 4th Court for an armed robbery, which happened when the victim was walking home. One of the subjects approached the victim and held him at gunpoint, then the other hit the victim in the back of the head. The victim fell, at which point both subjects started kicking him and finally stole what was in his pockets -- ID cards and $5.
Before taking off in a Nissan Maxima, the subjects fired at the victim, but missed. They were eventually caught, taken into custody and charged with armed robbery and grand theft auto.
