A heated debate over air conditioning Monday landed a brother in the hospital and another in trouble with the law.
Hallandale Police said a man was shot in the leg by his brother after the two siblings got into a fight at their mom's house. The argument was over the AC unit in the house, police said.
Police have not identified either of the men involved in the altercation. Both were taken to a local hospital.
The alleged shooter suffered a cut from a knife, police said.
The man that was shot had wounds to his leg and hip, Hallandale Beach Fire Rescue officials said.
Neither of the injuries appeared to be life threatening, police said.
No charges have been filed but police are investigating the incident.
