A man was shot and killed outside of his Deerfield Beach home late Wednesday night.
According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, 21-year-old Joseph Herrerra was shot outside his home off of Northeast 44th Court and Northeast Third Avenue around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Herrera was sitting in a car outside his home and got into an argument with a person. The gunman then shot Herrera, and left the scene in a light colored vehicle.
Herrera was taken to Broward Health North but was pronounced dead just before 11:30 p.m.
Homicide detectives are working to locate the light colored vehicle and the gunman.
