The Miami-Dade Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying the man who allegedly robbed a Walgreens.
It happened around 4 p.m. on July 19 at 14720 Southwest 88th Street in Miami. Police released footage from the crime on Tuesday.
Detectives said the subject, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and dark aviator-style sunglasses, entered the Walgreens and asked the clerk for cigarettes.
The clerk asked him to remove his sunglasses and show identification. At that point, police said the subject brandished a handgun and demanded cash from the register.
The clerk complied and the man got away with $300. He was described as a white male, 25-27 years of age and approximately 5'8" and 140 pounds.
