Two tickets purchased in Florida won $1 million each for matching five numbers in the $648 million Mega Millions jackpot, the Florida Lottery said Thursday.
One winning ticket was bought in Miami Beach at Sierra Auto Center at 331 23rd Street, and the other was bought in Lake Wales at a Publix, located at 102 East State Road 60.
Both tickets matched five numbers but not the mega ball.
The big winners of the jackpot were in Georgia and California.
There were 20 total winners of $1 million each across 45 jurisdictions nationwide. Other lesser prizes were also won.
