Stealing women's underwear might be a right of passage on a college campus, but it only lands you in jail in Miami.
Hector Collazo and 19-year-old Carlos Ramirez Martinez may have become the envy of frat boys everywhere by stealing women's panties from various Victoria's Secret stores across South Florida.
Police said the duo was caught shoplifting at the Victoria's Secret in the Aventura Mall over the weekend. Collazo, a veteran to the shoplifting game, admitted to hitting stores in Palm Beach and Broward counties. He had previously been arrested for boosting from the Gap and Express stores in the Aventura Mall.
Clearly, he stepped his game up when he targeted Victoria's Secret. Police believe Collazo is the head man of a shoplifting ring that reaches up the east coast and recruits youngsters like Martinez, kind of like a frat, only illegal.
Both men are charged with felony grand theft.
