A homeless man is facing burglary charges after police say he broke into and robbed a Miami Beach Catholic church and a bank's offices.

Antonio Lopez, 46, was arrested Sunday and charged with two counts of burglary and one count of theft, according to Miami Beach Police.

Police say Lopez's theft ring began on July 14, when he smashed a window and rummaged through several offices at St. Patrick's Church at 3716 Garden Avenue.

Lopez got away with a laptop computer and $130 cash, police said.

On Aug. 1, police say Lopez pried open a door to the offices of a bank at 524 W. 41st Street, where he made off with two laptop computers.

Police say Lopez was captured on surveillance video entering the building on Aug. 1 and July 31. His total take was estimated to be about $2,500, police said.

Lopez was being held on $20,500 bond Monday. It was unknown if he had an attorney.
