Police are looking for an attacker who hit a man on the head with a wooden stick Tuesday night in Miami Beach.
The attack happened at around 9 p.m. in the 1200 block of Alton Court, according to Miami Beach police.
Authorities say the victim was walking his dog in an alley when somebody approached him from behind and struck him with a large piece of wood.
The victim was transported to the hospital and is recovering with non-life threatening injuries.
A tourist told NBC 6 her roommate witnessed the attack.
"She was driving in an Uber, and the guy who was assaulting the man ran away," Alexandria Hutchkinson said. "The driver got out of the car and tried to assist him."
The attacker is described as a 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 and about 165 pounds, police said. He was wearing dark-colored clothes.

Police are asking for any possible surveillance video for the investigation.
