A woman has been arrested and a second suspect is on the loose after police say they attacked the manager of a Miami Burger King after they were denied free french fries.

Natasha Ethel Bagley, 42, was arrested Monday on charges including armed burglary with assault or battery, attempted robbery with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief in the April 2 incident at the Burger King at 18240 S. Dixie Highway, an arrest report said. Her co-defendant, 27-year-old Genesis Peguero, remains at large, the report said.

According to the arrest report, the pair went through the restaurant's drive-thru and asked for free fries, but an employee denied their request. Minutes later, they entered the restaurant and caused a distraction and Peguero jumped over the counter, the report said.

Peguero demanded the manager open the register and "give up all the money," and the manager said Peguero threatened to hit her in the face with a .45 caliber pistol while placing her hands in her pocket, the report said. When the manager grabbed a phone and tried to call police, Peguero snatched the phone out of her hands and punched her in the face, the report said.

Bagley then jumped over the counter and also attacked the manager, and as they started to leave, Peguero ripped both registers and monitors from the counter, causing them to break, the report said. Peguero jumped back over the counter and started hitting the manager again, the report said.

The pair eventually left the scene in an SUV, which was discovered to be registered to Bagley, the report said. The victims later identified her as one of the people behind the attempted robbery, the report said.

Bagley was booked into jail, where she was being held without bond Tuesday, records showed. Attorney information wasn't available.
