A suspect was arrested after a man sitting on a bus bench was struck by a hit-and-run driver Wednesday in Miami.
Shortly after 3 p.m., a vehicle crashed into a bus bench and hit a pedestrian who was sitting on the bench in the area of NW 7th Avenue and 58th Street, according to the Miami Police Department.
The suspect drove away from the scene, but was later stopped a few blocks away, police said.
The victim, a 63-year-old black male, was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital. His condition is unknown.
