You can officially log this one under the "Inevitably Obvious" files.

The Lingerie Football League has now done Playboy.

Ten football pad-wearing women were selected to grace the pages of the nudie magazine and it's even less surprising that the producers of the spread would choose a tight end to represent the Miami Caliente. After all, no place has better tight ends than Miami.

Ashley Helmstetter, who also plays defensive linewoman for the Caliente, is featured in the February edition of Playboy, which will focus on the "Sexiest Show on Turf."

Hugh Hefner's a big fan of football and scantily clad women so it was only natural for him to reach out to LFL. 

According to the Caliente website, Helmstetter is from West Virginia and had two catches on the season and seven tackles, but our guess is Playboy wasn't that focused on those stats.

The Caliente finished 2-2 on the season and with a football brawl for the ages that showed they had more fight than the Miami Dolphins.
