Miami-Dade County Youth Fair Opens Thursday

The Miami-Dade County Youth Fair will open their doors for guests on Thursday at Tamiami Park in Southwest Miami-Dade.

New rides, foods, and musical acts will be some of the exciting attractions at the Fair.

This is the first year that the Fair will be open for 21 days, instead of 18.

The Fair is offering special deals for guests on opening day including a reduced admission of $6 for all guests.

Guests who purchase general admission tickets in advance at any participating Sedano's Supermarket or online will receive two tickets for the 2015 Youth Fair on Opening Day.

Another special including "School Spirit Uniform Day" will give students free admission if they are wearing a uniform shirt/blouse with a school logo on Thursday.

In honor of the Fair’s 64 anniversary, the 64th guest at each turnstile (on Opening Day) will receive 4 FREE admission tickets to come back on a different date.

Active and retired military personnel receive free admission to the Fair with presentation of valid ID on Opening Day and every Wednesday.

“Opening Day of The Youth Fair is always such a special day for so many Miami-Dade County residents,” said Bob Hohenstein, president and CEO of the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair.

The Fair will run from March 12- April 5 (except March 16-17 and 30-31).

Gates open at 3 p.m. Thursday with free parking daily.
