Inmates Rearrested After Allegedly Exposing Themselves to Corrections Officer

Three inmates face additional charges and bond after allegedly exposing themselves to a female corrections officer in Miami.

Robert Pierce, Dionis Triana and Julio Charris were already in jail at the Miami-Dade Pre-Trial Detention Center when they were rearrested Monday for inappropriate behavior at the facility.

According to an arrest report, a female corrections officer was conducting a security check of the day room when Triana asked her for soap. When she reached to grab the soap, Triana exposed himself and started masturbating. Prosecutors said Pierce and Charris were nearby and doing the same thing.

Pierce was already in jail on charges of second-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence, while Triana is facing petit theft charges and Charris is facing charges of grand theft.

Miami-Dade judge Gerald Hubbart gave each inmate an additional $5,000 bond and an additional charge of lewd and lascivious behavior to their cases.
