Miami-Dade Man Accused of Running Illegal Gas Operation After Fuel Found Spilling Out of Truck

A Miami-Dade man is accused of operating an illegal gas truck after detectives say 250 gallons of gasoline were found spilling out of the vehicle.

Randy Gonzalez, 24, was arrested Wednesday after the truck was found parked outside an apartment complex on Southwest 4th Street.

Detectives say they found 55 counterfeit credit cards in the truck. The cards had been re-encoded with stolen credit card information, officials said.

Gonzalez is now facing charges of possessing a vehicle with an illegal tank and trafficking in counterfeit credit cards.

He appeared in court Thursday where his bond was set at $30,000.
