Miami-Dade Police say they're looking for two suspects who started a shootout with an officer late Friday night.
It was around 11 p.m. when the officer spotted a 2014 Dodge Charger that was taken in a carjacking Thursday, officials said. As the officer approached the car, two suspects inside opened fire, hitting the officer's car multiple times, officials said.
The officer returned fire and the suspects fled on foot. A perimeter was set up but the suspects weren't found.
Police said the officer wasn't injured but it's unknown if either suspect was hit by gunfire.
