Miami Dolphins Donate Beds to Underprivileged Kids

The Miami Dolphins scored some big points off the field on Friday. The team made dreams come true for 100 underprivileged kids.

100 beds were all donated to children in need Friday at the Miami Dolphins training facility.

“It’s a big help. It’s a blessing, it’s amazing,” said Ziana Gonzalez.

“We are given so much, and we have an opportunity to give back,” said Raekwon McMillan of the Dolphins.

The Dolphins teamed up with Ashley Furniture Home Store to make the donations happen. The beds came complete with Miami Dolphins comforters.

“Thank God, my kids have good beds to sleep on and my grandkids too, so we like the idea that we are helping families,” said Keith Koenig of Ashley Furniture Home Store.

The giveaways came with fun activities for the kids, along with meet and greets with the team, cheerleaders and the team’s mascot.

Each bed will be shipped to their homes but on Friday, the kids got to participate in a sleepover inside the Dolphins training camp.
