Miami Dolphins Open Training Camp Thursday Ahead of 2018 Season

Are you ready for some football, Miami Dolphins fans?

The first regular season game is still over a month away, but the Fins hit the practice fields for the first full workout of their training camp Thursday morning at the team’s facility on the campus of Nova Southeastern University in Davie.

Veteran players began arriving Wednesday, while rookies have been in town for the last week, ahead of the scheduled practice to kick off camp.

12 of the Dolphins’ practices during camp will be open to the public – all starting at 8:30 a.m. – along with a scrimmage scheduled inside Hard Rock Stadium:

  • Saturday, July 28th
  • Sunday, July 29th
  • Monday, July 30th
  • Wednesday, August 1st
  • Thursday, August 2nd
  • Friday, August 3rd
  • Saturday, August 4th (Scrimmage at Hard Rock at 11 a.m.)
  • Monday, August 6th
  • Tuesday, August 7th
  • Monday, August 13th
  • Tuesday, August 14th

Fans must RVSP at this link in order to attend one of the open practices and the scheduled scrimmage.

The Dolphins will open their preseason schedule on Thursday, August 9th when they host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers along with an August 25th home game against the Baltimore Ravens sandwiched around road preseason games against the Carolina Panthers and the Atlanta Falcons.

Miami, who finished 6-10 last season in head coach Adam Gase’s second season after making the playoffs the previous year for the first time since 2008, will open the regular season at home on September 9th against the Tennessee Titans.
