Miami Edison High School Student Accused of Selling THC-Laced Cereal Bars

A Miami high school student was arrested for allegedly selling cereal bars laced with THC on campus, authorities said.

Eighteen-year-old Kimberly Destiny Mitchell, a student at Miami Edison Senior High School, faces a charge of selling or delivering a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, according to an arrest report.

The school principal discovered the student had individually wrapped cereal bars and cash with her. Mitchell admitted to detectives to selling the edibles for profit, authorities said.

A judge in bond court Tuesday waived Mitchell's bond and ordered her on house arrest. Attorney information was not available.
