A man is facing numerous charges after allegedly sexually abusing his wife.
Jermie Collier, 31, of Miami Gardens was arrested early Wednesday.
According to the arrest report, Collier choked his wife, held her at knifepoint and forced her to have sex with him. He then allegedly took her keys and cellphone, refusing to let her leave or contact anyone.
Police said the couple has been married for three years and are in the middle of a separation, due to Collier's apparent drug problem.
Collier has now been charged with sexual battery with a deadly weapon, battery and false imprisonment. He was being held without bond Wednesday and it was unknown if he's hired an attorney.
