Miami Gardens Man Shot and Killed by Gunman on Bicycle

Police are searching for a bicycle-riding suspect who shot and killed a man in Miami Gardens Tuesday.

The shooting happened around 1:38 p.m. in the area of 32nd Avenue and Northwest 208th Terrace, Miami Gardens Police said.

Jemuel Tremar Williams, 32, was killed in the shooting. Authorities said he was approached by the suspect, who got off a bicycle and shot him multiple times.

"He didn’t deserve that, for whoever to shoot and kill him like that and just leave him and walk away, to shoot him five times and leave my brother down on the ground dying. That was not right," sister Dominique Green said.

Police released a photo of the bicycle that was used by the suspect, who left it behind when he fled the scene.

Family members said they were shocked to learn of the killing.

"He taught me everything I know now. He was very loving and kind and smart and I just can’t believe he’s gone," brother Jaquan Green said.

"I wanna know why he took my brother from my mama, from his sisters and brothers from his nieces, from his uncles, why he took my brother away," Dominique Green said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
