What to Know

  • The Hurricanes will be back inside the stadium on August 24th when they open the regular season against the Florida Gators.

The Miami Hurricanes football team will conclude their spring practice schedule 240 miles away from their Coral Gables campus – in the same location where they will open the 2019 season in just over four months.

Fans of the ‘Canes will be heading to Orlando on Saturday for the final scrimmage of the spring, taking place inside of Camping World Stadium at 12 p.m.

Miami moved their final event when their home field, Hard Rock Stadium, was booked for a concert by legendary rockers the Rolling Stones before the concert was eventually cancelled several weeks ago.

Tickets to the game are free for fans, who can get them by clicking on this link. Parking at Camping World Stadium is $10 and cash only, with lots opening at 9 a.m. Fans also have a chance to purchase tickets to a pregame brunch inside the stadium featuring new head coach Manny Diaz and others.

The Hurricanes will be back inside the stadium on August 24th when they open the regular season against a longtime rival, the Florida Gators. The game was moved up a week to help celebrate the 150th anniversary of college football.

All-time, the ‘Canes have played five games in Orlando with a 2-3 record – including a 19-10 loss to the Gators during the 1976 season. Miami last played inside the stadium during the 2016 Camping World Bowl, when they defeated West Virginia for their first postseason victory since the 2006 season.
