Miami International Boat Show Starts Thursday

More than 1,000 boats will be on display this weekend at the Miami International Boat Show.

Prices range from $20,000 to more than $5 million.

"It's an incredible show. It has educational opportunities and training opportunities on the water," event manager Larry Berryman said.

Three different sites will be showcasing the best in the boating industry. At Sea Isle Marina on 16th Street and Bayshore Drive, visitors will find yachts and power boats. Bayside Marina is the sailboat portion of the show.

The main event hub is the Miami Beach Convention center where visitors can take a look at a variety of luxury and eco-friendly boats. The latest marine gadgets will also be on display.

And if you're a first time boat owner or if you'd just like to head out on the water, both power boat and sailing lessons are available.

Ticket prices start at $20 for one day. The event opens tomorrow at 10 a.m.
