A man was arrested after being accused of sexually molesting a 5-year-old girl, Miami Police said Thursday.

The girl told her mother that Wilfredo Lopez, 29, a family aquaintance, had sexually molested her while she was watching cartoons at home on Jan.1, police said.
Authorities Search for Potential Victims of Convicted Sex Offender
After the mother called police, detectives were able to locate and arrest Lopez. He faces a charge of sexual battery. He was arrested on Wednesday, and was being held without bond on Thursday afternoon, according to online jail records.
It wasn't immediately known if Lopez had an attorney.
