The only passenger wearing a seatbelt in an Interstate 95 crash in Martin County was killed while three others in the SUV survived.
Florida Highway Patrol reports three survivors in the Friday crash weren't wearing seatbelts, yet passenger Casimiro Aquino was wearing a safety belt and was killed.
The 56-year-old Miami man was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers were airlifted to St. Mary's Medical Center and the driver was taken by ambulance to Jupiter Medical Center and transferred to St. Mary's.
Florida Highway Patrol said the vehicle's driver lost control after tread separated from a tire, causing it to swerve off the highway and roll over several times.
