Miami Marlins Seeking MVPs at Wednesday Job Fair at Marlins Park

The Miami Marlins are looking for some MVPs to join their organization in 2014 – and Wednesday could be your chance to show them what you’ve got.

The team is hosting its Marlins Valuable Professionals (M.V.P.) Internship Job Fair on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Marlins Park. The Marlins are looking to fill internship positions in the following areas: accounting, audio/video technical, ballpark operations, baseball operations, broadcasting, community outreach, corporate partnerships, digital and social media, facilities and engineering, information technology, marketing and promotions, Marlins Foundation, media relations and communications, retail operations, sales and customer service, ticket operations, turf management and video production.

The paid internships last all year, from January to December 2014, and require full-time hours, game nights and weekend responsibilities, the team says.

The M.V.P. Internship Programs aims to offer young leaders an opportunity to grow academically and professionally at Marlins Park. The team’s $634 million stadium complex, located at 501 Marlins Way in Little Havana, opened in the spring of 2012.

The job fair is free. The Marlins suggest that candidates park in the Home Plate Garage and enter the ballpark through the Home Plate entrance.
