Miami Police have identified the mother and son who died in a fall at a high-rise building in Brickell that's being investigated as a murder-suicide.
Solanye Matos Nava, 38, and her 5-year-old son, Luciano Matos, died in the incident at Brickell City Centre Monday night, officials said Thursday.
Police and fire rescue crews found the child unresponsive on the sixth floor terrace near a pool located on the high-rise apartment side of the complex. The body of Nava was found nearby.
Officials believe they fell from at least the 20th floor. The case is being investigated as a murder-suicide.
