Miami Police Investigating Recent Paintball Attacks

The Miami Police Department said it is investigating numerous incidents in which residents have been shot at and injured by paintball guns.

Investigators said they've received several reports of people being targeted over the past days.

One victim told NBC 6 that he was shot while he was on the way home from work near the area of NW 5th Avenue and NW 32nd Street in Wynwood.

He said two men pulled up in a Mercedes-Benz and targeted him with a paintball gun.

"Oh, well. Stuff happens – that's life," the victim, who said he was shot at up to nine times, said.

Anyone with information is urged to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
