Nearly two years after a double murder in the parking lot of a Gould's lounge, Miami-Dade Police continue their search for the man who pulled the trigger and anyone else who may have been an accomplice.
The pain is still raw for the mothers of both victims, Von-Tavius Sands and Eddie Seymour.
"Every single day that God allows me to be on this Earth, I think about him," said Victoria Evans-Sands, Von-Tavius' mother.
"Some nights I cannot sleep. I think of him every hour of every day," said Clementina Seymour, Eddie's mother.
Tracy Walker was Eddie's longtime girlfriend. She was in the car on September 10, 2016, when the gunman killed her boyfriend and Von-Tavius outside M&M Too Sweet Lounge.
"I wonder why was my life spared? Why was I left to be here all alone?" said Tracy Walker.
The lounge is near Southwest 220th Street and 120th Avenue. Walker says she was sitting in Eddie's Cadillac in the parking lot waiting for Eddie and Von-Tavius to finish their conversation. She was playing a game on her phone and says the music was on really loud inside the car.

"When I look the guy had the gun pointed at my face and told me [expletive] get out the car and he snatched my jewelry and I just rolled out the car and when I rolled back over that's when I realized that Tay and Eddie had been shot," said Walker.
"I think they were targeted because of the jewelry they were wearing. I know that two gold chains were taken from each of the victims respectively," said Detective Adam Gilliland, Miami-Dade Police Department.
According to detectives, the Cadillac was also stolen but recovered hours later more than 20 blocks away.
"For someone to just take his life like that not knowing badly they hurt the people they leave behind, it's just nonsense," said Walker.
Both families are now hoping for answers, praying for someone to come forward with any bit of information to get some closure.
"We're hoping that this is not the end. That justice will be served," said Evans-Sands.
