Miami Police Seek Leads in Search for Missing 14-Year-Old

Police say they believe Alexandra Flores is in danger

Miami Police detectives say they believe a teenage girl who has a habit of running away from home is now in danger.

Fourteen-year-old Alexandra Flores disappeared three weeks ago from “The Village” in Miami, a drug and alcohol treatment center.

Alexander and Eunice Flores acknowledge their teenage daughter Alexandra has a troubled past, that she’s run away from home several times, and that she has a growing substance abuse problem.

But police fear for her safety, Miami Police spokeswoman Officer Kenia Reyes says.

“Not that she’s just in danger, but someone is deliberately hiding her. She has not resurfaced. So we’re afraid," Reyes said.

Reyes points out “any information is crucial. Tidbits of information are what lead a detective to her whereabouts.”

Police urge anyone with any information to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. They are offering a $2,000 reward for good information and you can stay anonymous.
