Break out the champagne because it's almost New Year's Eve, and in Miami that means swanky parties hosted by celebs.
The famed Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach is hosting over-the-top bashes poolside and at LIV Nightclub.
"You'll see plenty of glitz and glamour, because that's what Fontainebleau's all about. It's been that way since 1954. You see people decked to the nines," said Jeffrey Klein, Vice President of Operations at Fontainebleau Miami Beach.
General admission at LIV starts at $675. Premium tables on the dance floor go for $25,000. Rapper Busta Rhymes and DJ Sebastian Ingrosso will take over the stage.
"It's an upscale clientele. They're here to spend their money," added Klain.
The party goes until 7 a.m., two hours longer than it's usual closing time.
Outside, preparations have begun for a mega pool party fit for up to 3,000 people.
"The DJ will be suspended, he'll be up in the air," he said.
This year Miami won a top spot on Priceline.com's list of hottest New Year's Eve destinations. Rankings are based on hotel reservations made through the site. Fontainebleau has already sold out all 1,500 rooms.
Tourist Antonio La Rosa is visiting from the party capital of the world.
"From Ibiza, when you say 'I'm going to Miami, everybody's like oh my God, you're so lucky,'" La Rosa said.
We didn't forget the little ones. They can get in on the fun 12 hours early.
The Miami Children's Museum is hosting "NOON Year's Eve." An early balloon drop, arts and crafts and games start at 10 a.m.
And music lovers can head over to "Red Bull Soundclash" at Bayfront Park for a live concert featuring Ludacris and Mike Posner. The performances hosted lead up to the famous Big Orange that will rise along the Intercontinental Hotel. Gates open at 7 p.m., the show starts at 9 p.m. and the fireworks go off at midnight. Admission is free and all ages are welcome.
