Miami Springs Police on Tuesday were investigating a strong armed robbery on La Quinta Inn hotel parking lot.
On Dec. 3, 2012, two women were walking from the parking lot to the hotel lobby and a man pulled up in a car and snatched the victim’s purse, police said.
According to police, he was wearing wearing a two tone baseball hat, a light colored shirt and dark shorts.

The woman struggled to retain her purse, but was not able to do so before the suspect ran back to his car.
The vehicle appears to be a silver Dodge Avenger, last seen heading towards Northwest South River Drive.
