A Miramar man was arrested in central Florida after he was found traveling along Interstate 75 with a total of 90 pounds of marijuana stuffed into various boxes.

Khalfani Norman Robb, 31, was arrested on Friday while driving in Fort Myers and faces charges including marijuana possession with intent to sell or deliver, authorities said.

Lee County Sheriff's Office deputy had stopped the car after seeing Robb reclined in the front seat with his feet on the dashboard, not wearing a seat belt, while another person drove. Initially, the car slowed down, going 60, even though the speed limit was 70, authorities said.

"Robb apologized for not wearing his seat belt and stated that he was playing a game," the probable cause statement said.

According to the statement, Robb got extremely nervous when he was told he was just getting a written warning for the seat belt violation, which doesn't carry points or fines. The deputy said there was also a faint smell of marijuana in the air

"As Robb returned to the patrol car, he was extremely nervous and his face was twitching uncontrollably," the report said. "

The deputy had a K-9 sniff the vehicle, and he detected an odor of narcotics. A five gallon bucket and five boxes were filled with marijuana, each weighing between 15 and 17 pounds, authorities said.

The driver was not charged, and it wasn't immediately known if Robb had an attorney.
