A man is recovering after a car fell on him while he was working underneath.
It happened around 10:30 a.m. Monday at a residence in the 2400 block of Tarpon Drive in Miramar.
The victim's stepson told NBC 6 the man was changing the oil under the car when the jack gave out, causing the car to fall on him.
He said there were several roofers next door who helped lift the car and then remove the victim from underneath.
The man was transported to Memorial Hospital where he needed stitches on his head.
