Miramar Police are issuing a strong warning for residents as they say people in the city and surrounding areas are getting kidnapped and robbed near banks.
They had two cases of it so far in Miramar alone and believe there could be other cases out there.
NBC 6 interviewed a 21-year-old female victim who did not want to be identified out of fear for her safety. She said she was forced into a car after withdrawing $400 from a Wells Fargo bank on Miramar Parkway last month.
The two female suspects drove her around for about an hour, implied they had a gun, and took her to another ATM where they forced her to withdraw what was left in her account.
"Deep down I'm not ok," the victim said. "It's not about the money, it's what they did."
Police said the suspects are black women. One has gold teeth and is usually wearing medical scrubs. The other has a cross tattoo on her ring finger.
