Miramar School Bus Fight Leads to Misdemeanor Battery Charges for 2 Students: Police

The two juveniles both received minor injuries and were taken to a hospital as a precaution, police said

Two Miramar High School students have been given misdemeanor battery charges for fighting on a school bus Monday, police said.

The two juveniles, who both received minor injuries, were taken as a precaution to Memorial Hospital West, Miramar Police said.

One student has already been released from the hospital, police added.

The fight took place when the bus was in the area of Pembroke Road and South Douglas Road. Police and fire rescue responded after the bus stopped.
