Missing Central Florida Mom Jessica McCreery, Baby Safe

Officials say a missing central Florida mother and baby have been found alive and well.

Authorities in Altamonte Springs have been searching for 21-year-old Jessica "Elizabeth" McCreery and 7-month-old Penelope Hogarth since Tuesday.

When police visited the home they shared with 46-year-old David Hogarth, he failed to cooperate. Officers arrested him on drug charges after finding a grow house inside the home. Police said Hogarth's comment made them believe the two were in danger.

Late Thursday, Hogarth's attorney Mark O'Mara provided Altamonte Springs police with a photo depicting the mother and child. McCreery was holding a paper with Thursday's date printed on it.

Sgt. Rob Pelton told the Orlando Sentinel they are working with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to authenticate the photos. He says they hope to work with O'Mara and Hogarth on Friday.

A news conference is planned for Friday afternoon outside O'Mara's Orlando law office.
