Authorities on Monday said the body of a missing man was found floating in a Deerfield Beach lake.
The body of Cleudson DaSilva, 37, was found at 12:15 p.m. by a boater. On March 1, Broward Sheriff's deputies started looking for him after his friend said he failed to surface while they were swimming.
Firefighters tried to find him and a dive team also searched. The next day they searched with sonar-equipped boats.
The man's identity was confirmed through fingerprints.
The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to confirm cause of death.
